Uniform Questions
Uniform Conundrum…
From Mr. Kiefer:

Dear Parents and Students of Saint Augustine Catholic High School:
As many of you know, we are having some serious issues with our supplier for the school uniforms. Many of you are missing one or more key components in order to have complete outfits to wear. I have spoken with the Ogdens who believe that all supply issues should be resolved by the end of August. At that time all students should be able to have their full and proper uniforms.
Until then we must address student attire. We would like the students to dress as follows, in order of preference.
1. If you have a full and complete uniform, wear it as often as possible.
2. If you are missing a component – for example khaki shorts, you may wear comparable khaki shorts of the same color (including cargo shorts).
3. If you are missing a component and do not have a comparable color, you may wear brown or black of the same item (no jeans).
4. If you have only received long sleeve oxford shirts, you may wear a white short sleeve oxford shirt/white short sleeve dress shirt or a Saint Augustine polo shirt.
We will certainly work with our students and families until the missing uniforms arrive. In the interim the goal is to be neat, clean, and modest. Belts are to be worn with shorts and pants, regardless of whether or not the pants are uniform attire. Uniform rules surrounding makeup, hair, and jewelry are still in force. The bottom line is that we do not want you to spend additional money – wear what you have until the uniforms arrive.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call the school. 520-751-8300.
