HOW TO USE CENTRE

Centre is the educational software program that will keep you updated about your student’(s) academic progress throughout the school year. We will no longer be mailing out progress reports and/or report cards. If you do not have access to a computer please contact the office to make other arrangements. Please contact the office to activate your account prior to the beginning of school year. At that time you will be issued a user id and generic password. The generic password should be changed as soon as possible to keep your student’s information confidential. Every parent has been tied only to their student, but anyone who knows your first and last name will be able to see your student’s information by using the generic password until you change it. To Change the Password: Once you are in the program, on the left side column, click on USERS, then go to Preferences. The middle tab will be password. You may click on this and change the password here.

To View Upcoming Assignments and Due Dates: On the left column click on SCHOOL-SET UP, this will produce a calendar for your student only. Here should be listed assignments on their due dates. By single clicking on the assignment, should give you a description of that assignment.

Grades for Assignments: Click on GRADES, this will show the course with an overall grade. By clicking the course you will see the assignments with the individual grade.

Report Card: Click on the REPORT CARD and select the marking period you would like to view. Refer to the academic calendar as to the date grades will be available. Please feel free to contact us if something does not seem correct to you. We feel very comfortable that everything is working as it should but, as we all know with computer programs there could be something we overlooked. We appreciate any and all input.
