Season: Winter

basketball_girls_300Welcome to Saint Augustine Lady Wolves basketball! In the short six-year history of the school, few sports programs have been as consistently successful as the Lady Wolves program. During the five years the school has been existence, the Wolves have qualified for five regional tournaments and two state tournaments.  The Winter 2009 season has seen the team continue its impressive growth as a program with early season wins against 2A Tombstone and 3A Chino Valley. Emphasizing pressure defense and up tempo offense, the Lady Wolves work incredibly hard in both practice and games. In addition to promoting excellence on the basketball court, the program also emphasizes success in the classroom. The team meets for a mandatory study hall two times a week before practice.  Finally, the basketball team also engages in a team sponsored service project at the Giving Tree homeless outreach center.
